Alert Configuration for Switch dispute service

In configuring alerts for Team Apt Switch Dispute Service under the Apm and services the following steps were taken;

  1. Log on to the new relic https://login.newrelic.com/?return_to=https%3A%2F%2Fone.newrelic.com%2Fnr1-core%3Faccount%3D1968949%26state%3D062a2e8d-47a0-86dd-23b1-1506413f9881

  2. Click on Alerts and create Alert Policy. - The Alert Policy for this was named Switch Dispute Service.

  3. Click on Apm services on the side bar to view metrics. To create a condition for any metrics where thresholds are being configured click on the option sign on the metrics and create alert conditions. Select desired query and set required thresholds for either warning and critical levels or both and a descriptive name for the alert condition.

 

  1. Name Alert Condition and select policy.

  1. Workflow.-The workflow created for this service is named Switch dispute flow. The workflow can also be created when adding alert policies. After creating workflow do well to activate.
