Installation
The Moniepoint Odoo Payment Module is designed to seamlessly integrate with Odoo, providing a convenient payment solution for your business. Follow these steps to configure the module on Odoo:
Installation on Odoo.sh:
Navigate to Odoo Apps.
Search for "Moniepoint" and install it.
Follow any additional setup instructions provided during the installation process.
On-Premise Installation:
Navigate to Odoo Apps.
Search for "Moniepoint" and install it.
Follow setup instructions provided on Odoo forum.
Configuration
After installation, you can proceed to configure the terminal on Odoo.
Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Payment Methods
Create a new payment method and select your created Journal with type Bank. Set the field Use a payment terminal to Moniepoint. New fields will appear for the credentials configuration.
Enter the client ID and client secret created on the Moniepoint Business application in the respective fields. If you are yet to do this, you can follow this guide. Enter the terminal serial number found at the back of your terminal or on Moniepoint business application in Terminal Serial Number field. If you are using client ID and secret created for Moniepoint Sandbox environment, check the Sandbox box. Save to continue.
Navigate to Configuration > Settings, Select the Shop the terminal will be used and add the newly configured payment method. Save to continue.
Open a session for the shop the terminal was added to.
You will be able to carry out a transaction and check out with the configured terminal.
Once a request is sent to the terminal, a call is made to get the response of a completed transaction and the response is displayed on the screen.
