    Discovery activities

Given the time and resources at the team's disposal, one or more of these activities ought to be undertaken to encompass the scope of your discovery endeavors. Ideally, a harmonious blend of methodologies should be employed in the creation of your discovery articles.

    1. Field studies

    2. Customer interviews

    3. Surveys

    4. Diary studies

    5. Participatory design

    6. Concept testing

    7. Focus groups

    Continuous research & discovery

Following the Agile manifesto, discovery should be a continuous practice - customer needs and desires, technology, competition, etc. change over time.

A working definition of Continuous Discovery:

“At a minimum, weekly touchpoints with customers,

By the team building the product

Where they conduct small research activities

In pursuit of a desired outcome"
